Join FBLA!

FBLA! What is it? The honest and brutal truth of FBLA is that to fully understand it, you must join it. Although it is hard to explain, I think I can stumble my way through... FBLA is about development -Development of students, the school, and the community. FBLA helps students polish themselves enough so that when they are thrown out into the real world- college, the workforce, or whatever it may be- they will be able to fend for themselves. Students learn co-curricular and valuable knowledge, they learn how to network, and they learn how to interact with others. FBLA brings out the leaders in all of us as well. In FBLA, we compete at the regional, state, and national levels in over 50 different topics- from word processing, to video productions, to sports management. At these conferences, you get to miss school and meet other kids from all over the nation. Pretty sweet huh? In FBLA, we work with local businesses and leaders for insight and for highlighting the importance of capitalism and competition in America. And in doing so, we have loads of fun. Oh- I almost forgot to mention, colleges and universities all around the nation recognize FBLA - its importance, and its prestige. So be sure to join! Who knows... It may decide whether or not you get into the college of your dreams. I could go on forever about FBLA, but if you join, you'll know what I'm saying...
Let's start a great year for RHHS FBLA. To do so, there needs to be clear communication within our organization. This year we are trying to fully utilize our website.

FBLA is holding an interest meeting September 4, 2008 at 2:10 pm right after school. Be there.

Profile Sheets to join are in Room 142 and on the bulletin board outside the room. You can also download it from our website. <--
And if you are a previous member and want to bring a friend, you can save $5 when turning in your profile sheets together!

With FBLA, your high school opportunities are endless... Get the Edge!
